WE WAITED UNIT THE LAST WEEKEND CHRISTMAS EVENT AT THE OPEN HOUSE SHOP IN BROOKVILLE
Happy Holidays to everyone and a big Thank You to all of you who have helped the shop make it to three years. If you know me you know I’m always behind. If you enjoy collectibles as much as I do I’d like an opportunity to help you give that unusual and special gift to your family, friend and to buy yourself something you always wanted.
I leaving Friday, December 10 to take my Dad to Florida (the shop will be open in my absence) and returning the next Thursday to open the shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 17-19, 2010 . We will remain open until the New Year and on weekends in good weather during the winter with appointment when you have a need for something special.
All the antiques will be at least 10% off and all large furniture at least 10% off, keep in mind we keep our prices as low as possible each day. The merchandise we purchase from a vendor such as the stationary, rugs, linens, signs will all be 25% off. We have some very special handmade, snowman, santa’s and other craft items not found in any other shop. Wood bowls, crocks, Cooksburg Pottery, quilts, authentic primitives and some great decorating ideas for you to see. Plus don’t forget those custom made farm tables. Need guy stuff, we have old tools, gas pumps, gas/oil signs and railroad items. We are farm and horse folks and have special items for the farm or camp. We also carry the Simple Life magazine and Briwax. Make us an offer on something, no reasonable offers will be denied as we need to make room for new items and to move things around this winter as the new roof and porch and addition space should be completed for spring. All Longaberger is 20% additional off and most of it was already 20-30% off before so it’s at clearance prices.
We have gift certificates available and can help wrap things if needed. Sign up for a Special Santa gift drawing and bring a friend.

I the process goes as planned and the phone is in we will be processing cards next week.
I hope to see you, so many of my customers have become friends and during these last three years I have met so many nice people who enjoy their homes and love to decorate them. We also have learned so much from each other and are keeping the history of simpler times alive. The new book of the history of Brookville will be available in our shop and would make a great Christmas present. It is a picture history by Carole Briggs.
